Dedication from Sheldon George to Anilda Crinall

This is a dedication in a form of a poem to the mother of my child and partner for six years.

To: Anilda Crinall

What you mean to me:

Most of us will never have the opportunity in meeting the right person,
But what and who is the right person,
What methodology defines such a person..
Is it described in the sense of boy meets girl….
Or is it in the relations on how that person makes you feel,

Up until recently I was caught between a rock and a hard place..

Up until I was introduced to …a person so intellectual…so confident

Delightful in every aspect of  what a human being can be….

A voice so soft as the most soothing of melodies…

A touch so gentle as a morning breeze

A heart so pure as the with garment of an angel

A smile so sparkly as the shiniest of all diamonds..

I now know what that look in my father's eye was when he woke up and stared at my mother…..just looking and admiring her whilst she was asleep…

As when you lay next to me unaware that I would stare at you enjoying the calmness that consumes you at that moment…oh the security that you feel at that moment as in my arms you lay…..

So people ask me what does she mean to you…. what makes her different,

Never could I totally explain what you meant to me up until today….

Yes up until today I was always in search of what completes me…

Up until today I was still in search of what the path to true happiness beholds for me,

Up until today I was still in search of what truly delights the being that is me…

So by pure chance you waltzed right into my life ….and all my questions disappeared

All my uncertainties faded at once..

As you bring total joy to my heart… strength to my soul… and happiness to my being

I now stand firm to any challenge life throws at me… as my armour is you…

My sword your commitment, and my garment the peace you instil within me…

I’m now as certain as David was when he took on Golliath ….collecting all but 5 stones… and a sling…. today I too will  collect 5 stones but mine will symbolize the following…. a stone for RESPECT….another for TRUST… one for HAPPINESS.. another for FAITH and lastly a one for LOVE…and I'll put them nicely together in the sling of COMMITMENT….and behold that would make us prosper against any challenge life has to throw at us….

So next time people ask me what you meant to me this will be my reply..........
