Ryan Gosling and the Oscar-nominated director Damien Chazelle will be working together once again, as the actor has signed up to star in Chazelle's Neil Armstrong biopic "First Man", according to the IMDb on Twitter.
Based on James Hansen's biography "First Man: A Life Of Neil A. Armstrong", the movie has been written by Josh Singer ("Spotlight") and will focus on the life of the Ohio-born astronaut and the challenges involved in NASA's moon-landing mission between the years 1961-1969.
Chazelle and Gosling have previously worked together on the critically acclaimed and Golden-Globe-nominated "La La Land."
Variety reports that filming is likely to start in early 2017, with no release date announced as yet.
