Green Day may have walked away with the Global Icon award at the MTV EMAs on Sunday night in Rotterdam‚ but their acceptance speech was all about the US election.
The band haven’t been shy to hide their distaste of Donald Trump.
Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong accepted the award and had this to say.
