Caitlyn Jenner has settled a lawsuit brought by one of the drivers in the fatal car accident she was involved in on the Pacific Coast Highway in February.
The 65-year-old Olympian was involved in a crash on Malibu's Pacific Coast Highway in February that killed Kim Howe, and Jessica Steindorff, the driver of a Prius involved in the pile-up had sued Caitlyn for personal injury and property damage.
However, TMZ reports that Caitlyn's insurance company paid out and the lawsuit has now been dropped. Talent manager Jessica previously hit out at the decision to award Caitlyn - who was known as Bruce Jenner before her gender transition - the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the 2015 ESPY Awards.
She said: ''I find it difficult to understand how the culture we live in can award a person who is responsible for taking a life and injuring several others with both an award and a reality show.
''For an individual who is such a positive role model in many aspects of her life, Caitlyn has failed to do the right thing and take responsibility for her actions. ''I would hope that someone who seems to greatly value the importance of human existence would be more sensitive to the fact that she ended another person's life. Sadly we are living in a tabloid society.''
Despite Jessica's comments, Caitlyn has been cleared of any criminal wrongdoing in relation to the crash.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney (D.A.) decided not to charge the 66-year-old reality TV star with vehicular manslaughter and officially rejected the case because she wasn't speeding and her conduct was not ''unreasonable'' when she ''set off a chain of events'' that resulted in the death of Kim Howe, in the multi-car pile-up on the Pacific Coast Highway.
However, the driver and passengers of a Hummer involved are suing Caitlyn, as are the two adult stepchildren of Kim Howe.
