Miley Cyrus has shared a naked selfie as she prepares to host the MTV Video Music Awards.

The 22-year-old singer, who will front the awards ceremony tonight (30.08.15), gave fans a sneak peek of her preparation for the big hosting gig -- posing completely nude in front of a mirror. Bleary-eyed Miley lamented waking up so early to host the event, captioning the Instagram picture:

''When yiew da host so you gotta get to the vmas early AF!!!!! (sic)'' The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker covered her modesty in the snap with two stars Photoshopped over her breast and genitals. Miley recently revealed she persuaded MTV producers to include her in more segments at the awards so she can wear multiple outfits.

The star has promised the ''most colourful'' VMAs in history with lots of costume changes. In a Q&A on the MTV Tumblr page, Miley said: ''i made mtv add me intothe show more so i could have more looks lol! so many coloooorsssssand jewllllzzzz =] want this to be the most colorful vmas of allherstory ;) (sic)''
