Nimrod Nkosi to host Utatakho

Presenter and motivational speaker Nimrod Nkosi will replace Zola as host of Utatakho from Tuesday, 01 September.

Utatakho is a docu-reality series that focuses on resolving issues of paternity with the help of DNA testing.

Bonginkosi "Zola" Dlamini, who after eight episodes and eleven weeks of travelling to different parts of the country, is stepping down as presenter due to his increasingly busy schedule.

With the demanding scale of his commitments, including his musical career and philanthropy work, Dlamini has decided to step down in order to put his full weight behind these commitments.

As one of South Africa's most recognisable faces in the industry, with an extensive television background, Nkosi is thrilled to follow in Zola’s footsteps.

“It is an honour and a pleasure to be roped in by the channel and the production to be part of this programme, and have the baton passed onto me from one of this country’s most talented and multifaceted hosts, Zola 7. I will be bringing my unique brand of hosting talent to the show, as I continue with the vision and mandate, which is to give a platform to those in Mzansi who seek answers and closure,” says Nkosi.

Join Nimrod as he takes on the important task of helping South Africans answer some questions with regards to their parentage and identity every Tuesday on Mzansi Magic at 20:00, DSTV - Channel 161.
