The news means it is likely the 35-year-old former NBA star is the one who prevented his father Joe Odom from visiting him at Los Angeles' Cedar-Senai Medical Center, not his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian as his dad had claimed.

Joe told TMZ: ''I'm mad, I'm upset because this is the second time I came to see my son and they won't let me see my son. ''It's a lot of sabotage going on. Like why can't I see my son? I brought him in the world.'' Asked why he was unable to visit his son, Joe blamed Khloe and said: ''They say I'm not on the visiting list.''

An insider recently revealed Lamar is ''getting stronger every day''. The source said: ''Lamar is getting better every day. He is more coherent and can talk more. [He is] walking with help now. He is getting stronger every day.

''And has a great team of therapists and specialists working with him. He's 6' 11'' and weighs a lot, so getting him to walk a little has been really hard.''
