Prolific TV personality Claire Mawisa is joining the journalistic team of Derek Watts, Bongani Bingwa, John Webb and Devi Sankaree Govender as the new presenter on M-Net’s popular Sunday primetime show “Carte Blanche”.

Mawisa had this to say on joining Mzansi’s longest running investigative journalism programme.

“Being a journalist is important to me because it gives you an opportunity to tell a story and sometimes you are the voice of the voiceless,” she said.

“I think sometimes people really are struggling with certain situations or have great news to share or have found incredible new ways to do something and they need that catalyst they need that person to be there and to tell that story for them. When you’re a journalist you have a responsibility to share that with the world”.

Claire’s first airdate is on Sunday, 12 April, with a story on Mpumalanga’s Bokoni not being recognized as a national heritage site.
