Model, actress and radio personality Pearl Thusi was in a car accident that left her and her daughter Thandolwethu, in a casualty ward yesterday.

Thusi took to Twitter to call out the online taxi booking company Uber for asking her to pay for a trip that landed both her and her daughter in an emergency room.

Luckily the accident was minor and both Pearl and Thando are doing well. Thusi tweeted her thanks to all those who sent messages of support .
