MICHELLE Mojapelo, née Molatlou, a former beauty queen and presenter of TV magazine show Mamepe, announced she is divorcing her husband Malope Mojapelo.

The two tied the knot in 2006.

Malope is a CEO of Magmoon PTY and is a well-known businessman from Zebediela in Limpopo.

The former Miss Black South Africa posted on her Facebook page that she was not happy before breaking the news of her divorce.

She did not want to discuss her break-up when Sowetan contacted her. She only replied: "That is unbelievable."

One of her followers consoled her: "He has given you a talented girl, clean your face and stand up and walk tall."

Her husband neither confirmed nor denied the divorce. He said: "Why don't you check with her, I posted nothing on Facebook."

Asked why his marital status on Facebook read "divorced" Mojapelo replied: "I have not been on Facebook for a long time. There is no story there. She is the one who posts whatever she posts, not me."
