AFRO-POP group the Muzo Brothers are looking forward to their performance tonight at Silverstar Casino in Muldersdrift, Mogale City, on the West Rand.

The group, which is made up of Mahlatsi Matji, Barcoss Makgale and Tumi Marome from Polokwane in Limpopo, will be sharing the stage with the Jaziel Brothers.

"We started the group in 2004 when we were still based in Johannesburg. After releasing our debut album, Nnete: The Truth, in 2005, we decided to go back home to grow our brand," said group member Matji.

He said the plan is working as they are now a household name in most parts of Limpopo.

"Performing alongside Jaziel Brothers is a big step because we will be performing to a big audience, which is not acquainted to our music. We plan to serenade the fans by playing our original Sepedi love songs and other songs from our upcoming album," Matji said.

He credits Selaelo Selota for grooming them and producing their first album, and says they are also working with him on their next album, which is expected to drop in May. Their single, Boela Gae, is currently enjoying airplay on Limpopo regional station Capricorn FM and SABC's Thobela FM. The gig starts at 7pm.
