EVICTED Big Brother Africa StarGame housemates hope they received enough publicity during their two-week stint on the reality show to land opportunities in the entertainment industry.

Liberian couple Luke and Yadel, and Sierre Leone's Dalphin, were evicted on Sunday.

Dalphin, who had the least country votes, took the axing hardest.

They join Zimbabwean Teclar and Tanzanians Hilda and Julio. Nigerian siblings Ola and Chris left the house during the week under different circumstances.

Ola left for health reasons. He suffers from hypertension. Chris, in a blood is thicker than water scenario, decided to follow his brother.

Dalphin is already looking forward to better things back home.

"I am a wine supplier, but I hope this has opened doors for me in entertainment, because I like acting," she said.

"I didn't expect to come out this soon. I guess some people among the viewers might have found me entertaining and some did not."

Luke, on the other hand, said he was already missing his Namibian love interest Jessica.

"I miss Jessica badly. I had fun with her. Our relationship is real and we are passionate about each other. I will wait for her," the 26-year-old college student said.

Luke said he was making plans for them to be together after the show, adding that he had felt that if the nomination process were not random and selection of eligible evictees was made by the housemates themselves, he would still be in the house.

Speaking from the "outside", Yadel said: "Being inside the house is so different from being the audience watching. It is dramatic, cheesy, hectic and fun at times. When I was sad and bored I would miss home. It is hard to be yourself and also represent your country at the same time."

Yadel, who is a university student, now wants to act.

As the reality show enters its third week the Downville house - where the non-celebrities stay - will receive a break from eviction this week, and the Upville house - occupied by artists, models and celebrities from across Africa - steps into the hot seat.

Yesterday, for the first time, the Upville housemates nominated each other for eviction.

Zambian singer Mampi seems to be skating on thin ice. Her gossiping tendency led to most of her fellow housemates nominating her for eviction.

Zainab, who was earmarked for eviction, is still in the house.

Just like Dalphin, many feel that she is safe because she is entertaining.

Maneta is also still in the house after surviving eviction last week, but it is touch and go for her once more after she was nominated by her housemates.
