Bobbi Kristina did a 'great job' on comedy show

Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's daughter Bobbi Kristina did a "great job" filming for a new comedy series.

The 19-year-old aspiring singer and actress publicly received the praise from screen writer Tyler Perry after she was reported to have walked off the set of 'For Better or Worse'.

She was thought to have recently quit the programme as she was still mourning the death of her entertainer mother in February.

Tyler wrote on the website: "Yes she was grieving, but grief aside, she managed to finish her obligation and did a great job at the same time".

"Please leave this baby alone!! and she is a baby. Please stop the lies and give this child some room to breathe and grieve."

Bobbi Kristina is going ahead with plans to work on a reality show that will also star Whitney's sister-in-law Pat, brother Gary, mother Cissy and Pat's daughter Rayah.

The 42-year-old director and actor lent his private jet to the Houston family to shuttle Whitney's remains back to New Jersey for her burial, and pleaded with people to give her offspring the privacy she deserves in his post.
