Pay close attention when listening

LISTENING is a skill that is vital - whether at school, work or in your interactions with friends and family. Here are some pointers on how to become a better listener:

  • Establish and maintain good eye contact;
  • Do not interrupt and do not try to answer the question until they have finished asking it; and
  • Take a few seconds to organise your thoughts before you respond. -
