SINCE the release of his famous hit single EX, kwaito star Character Langa is fast becoming a factor in the industry.
On Saturday Langa will dazzle music fans during the Securex Soweto Siyabangena Concerts at the Dr Mary Sports Grounds, Dobsonville.
Langa will share the stage with DJs such as Mgedeza and Fresca.
Siyabangena concerts kicked off on a high note last week at Mndeni Sports Ground in Soweto.
Langa, who promised people more fun at the concert, said: "People will enjoy every moment (I'm on stage). I am looking forward to the performance because I have not performed in Soweto in a long time. I like performing in an intimate space because you connect with the crowd."
Securex Siyabangena Concerts are hosted by Bliss Chemicals to celebrate the launch of Securex, an anti-germ soap.
Bliss Chemicals brand manager Nasiha Patel said: "The concerts celebrate a good clean living and personal hygiene. Music lovers who take part in this campaign will win lots of great prizes."
Bliss has lined up artists such as Zahara, Oskido, Professor, Character, Dr Malinga, DJs Fresca, Mgedeza and Tshepo Junior from Jozi FM.
The coming Siyabangena concerts will take place at the Godfrey Moloi Sports Grounds in Mapetla, Sebetsa Othole Moputso Sports Grounds in Snake Park, Maponya Mall and Elkah Cricket Stadium in Rockville.
l No tickets will be sold at the gates. Entry is exclusive to wristband holders that will be different for each event. The wristbands can be obtained at ticketing points by producing 3 Securex Soap Bars and any MAQ product.
Tickets will only be issued 3 days before an event.
