Uti crowned king of Big Brother All Stars

NIGERIA'S Uti is the winner of the 2010 Big Brother All Stars reality show

Uti received votes from 8 countries. When he was announced the king, Uti climbed on top of the couch and danced, much to the disappointment of second runner-up Zimbabwean Munya.

Uti didn't say much but expressed his joy by dancing.

Uti and Munya survived eviction several times. Messages that viewers sent to be aired favoured the two.

Munya, who survived eviction nine times, seemed to be Africa's favourite. But the tables turned last night when Uti, a model and actor who survived eviction three times, pocketed R1,4 million.

The first of the last five housemates to be evicted was Kenyan beauty Sheila. The second out was Tanzania's Mwisho. His teary fiancee, Namibian Meryl, fetched him from behind the stage. The two hugged and kissed.

Third to leave the house was South Africa's Lerato. The crowd sang Shosholoza as she came on stage. She said: "I'm proud to be the first South African to make it this far and for being the last woman in the house".
