I AM a young person who strongly supports efforts such as the moral regeneration campaign for our youth

It is a good initiative to drive the youth to a better understanding of themselves and could yield even greater results if the focus were not only on young people's behaviour.

The focus should also be on the so-called "older and wiser" generation.

It is really disgusting and shameful to see a man old enough to be one's father or worse, one's grandfather flirting with a young woman.

How can the youth respect themselves and their elders if the very same elders who accuse the young people of being disrespectful don't respect themselves and going after these young people for sex?

For moral regeneration attempts to be effective, it is important to shift the focus by not only paying attention to the young people, but the older generation as well.
