AMCU union on strike at Sibanye's Kroondaal mine

Members of South Africa’s Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (AMCU) have began an indefinite strike at Sibanye Gold’s Kroondaal mine on Friday over a lack of transport for employees, the union’s president said.

“The company doesn’t want to provide transport for its employees and these are basic conditions of employment,” Joseph Mathunjwa told Reuters.
