HIS return wasn't as special as Jose Mourinho's to Chelsea, but Manqoba Mngqithi felt his reunion with Lamontville Golden Arrows was something remarkable.

However, last weekend after an impressive 3-2 Telkom Knockout away win at Bidvest Wits, Mngqithi shocked everyone by resigning.

"I wanted to allow somebody else to take over who may not have the emotional attachment to Sis' Mato [Mato Madlala]. for the owner to fully exercise her power, there must be no emotional attachment between the boss and the coach."
