Joy of Jazz creator Peter Tladi should be commended for building and running such a world-class event.

This year marks 20 years since this gentle giant started the show, which brings to South Africa some of the world's best jazz artists.

And despite all the achievement that makes him a global player, Tladi remains a humble man of the people.
