So hot, we need air-con

WITH the party season still trying to shake off the cobwebs and get into the full swing of things, Shwashwi gets that she has to attend even the opening of an envelope.

So, there she was on Wednesday, traipsing to Jozi's BluBird Centre to attend the unveiling of the Stefania Morland boutique, where the mom and daughter team of Stefania and Shana unveiled some of their latest designs. The collection is fresh with a timeless feel that's sure to make the clothes wearable yonks from now.

Sorry, darlings, but there were no celebs; just a few mlungus sipping on bubbly and nibbling on cheese while checking out the merch. Time for Shwa to move along.

Next stop was the Cosmopolitan Sexiest Men Calendar event at Room Five in Rivonia. It was abs, abs and more abs for yours truly to run her long acrylic nails on. Yum!

As per usual, Bonang Matheba was the host of this heart-racing/ palm-sweating event. Note to organisers: check that the air-con and ventilation works next time.

For the few straight men who were there, Bonang showed leg in such a dangerously high slit, they must have been left wondering what lies beneath. Wink wink.

The non-camera-shy Boity Thulo was there with Vuzu cameraman Legend. Shwa is starting to get suspicious about this friendship. Everywhere Shwa goes, there the two of you are. Boity looked good in her black number and the hair was on point. Now don't take too long to change it; we know you can be a hair hoarder, boo.

The room was dripping sexiness. Even Zizo Beda brought her A-game. Girl looked hot in a short yellow number. Hallelujah that the hair was not tossed to the left as usual.

Iman Cosmetics ambassador Khanya Mkangisa rocked shorts and looked cute. We love the hair, we see where the endorsement money is going.

Simba Mbhere was there with a blonde "lady friend" called Kate, who kept a close eye on him. We wonder if Maps should feel threatened that his "Nobelungu" title might be stolen by Simba. We see you!

The wowzer of the night was the remark Bonang made when AKA - who is also featured in the calendar - asked how she liked her eggs in the morning. The response from the devilish B was: "I hope it doesn't result in my ex ending up at Park Lane clinic." Daym, gurl!

Oh, back to the men. Shwa's favourite was the gorgeous Bongani Mahlangu. This boy doesn't look a day older than 20 and he's in the South African Navy. If he looked that delicious topless, Shwa wonders what he looks like in uniform. Swoon.

Sadly he didn't win, the underwhelming Top Billing presenter Jonathan Boynton-Lee did.

ChianoSky and her boo Jack Ross were great as entertainment. Shwa hopes that relationship is still going strong; they are cute together.

As for seeing actress Nkuli Sibeko-Botman out and about. Shame, sisi, are you making a comeback? Your first stop must be a clothing store because that dress you wore was outdated and the hair needs a revamp. Thank Shwa later, they always do.
