SOCIALITES, men in riding boots, cocktails and horses are fast becoming a typical Sunday afternoon for Shwashwi.

So, dolled up in pink and white, yours truly was off to the BlackBerry Pink Polo at Val de Vie Wine Estate, near Paarl outside the Mother City. Boy, was the drive a schlep, but it was worth the mingle.

Shwa was thrilled to see everyone adhere to the colour scheme, because the event raised awareness of breast cancer. However, a few guys donned their douchebaggery like a badge of honour. Chief among them was Trevor Noah, who is anything but funny off stage. Instead of the theme, he opted for a shirt, jeans and sneakers combo. But that's not what bags him the chief douchebag award. Trev's refusal to pose for photos left Shwa with a lemon tart face.

Seems the man's ego is growing along with his international brand, and he's drinking from his own Kool-Aid. Slow down, brother, or Shwa will be forced to bring up those uncomfortable "cribbing" rumours again. Better watch yourself!

The other man fast losing his shine in Shwa's eyes is The Bold and the Beautiful actor Texas Battle. He showed up, wearing a beige suit, with a bodyguard. He told Shwa his shadow came courtesy of followers and stalkers. Um, bro, aren't you the same guy who goes to malls with a crew courting frenzied attention from tannies and teens? And let's face it, you've been to so many events in the Mother City, Jen Su must be shaking in her wedge heels that you're about to dethrone her.

The annual event, organised by Edith Venter, also drew Olympic swimmer and all-round hottie Ryk Neethling, 5FM's Jen Su, Expresso's Leigh-Anne Williams, Bravo! presenter Tracey Lange, soccer hottie Ryan Botha, 2Oceansvibe presenter Bailey Schneider, actor Siv Ngesi, Blackbyrd singer Tarryn Lamb and Expresso insert presenter Danine Naidoo.

Shwa mingled in the Grey Goose marquee, which was great for recycled celeb spotting.

Actress Natalie Becker unveiled a new six pack, thanks to her new workout routine: salsa dancing! She wore a midriff top that showed it off to perfection. AKA's Jealousy started playing in Shwa's head when she eyeballed that toned tum. Yum!
