The shocking words were uttered by a man who identified himself as Louis van Rooyen in a video that was posted on a WhatsApp group called Nasionale Boere Dag 2.
In the video, Van Rooyen also threatened to unleash it on social media.
A quick search on the internet returned a Facebook account of a Louis van Rooyen from Brakpan, Gauteng, who bears a striking resemblance to the man in the video. The Facebook account also has a picture of the old South African flag as its cover photo.
Van Rooyen could not be reached for comment as his cellphone rang unanswered.
One of the members of the WhatsApp group, Eddie Stieger, confirmed that he [Stieger] posted the video on their chat platform. Stieger, however, denied knowing Van Rooyen and could not explain the origins of the video.
In his video message, Van Rooyen appears calm and speaks softly in Afrikaans.
"Where do I begin, Julius? I want to get to understand you but I think you are just a barbaric person who is trying to be civilised. As they say, you can take a baboon out of the bush but you can't take the bush out of the baboon.
"Every time you talk to your people, you tell them bad things about my people, the boere volk, my Afrikaner people. Your people rape women, kill children and attack people on their farms. Just like you, you are one of the barbarians that kill my people," he said.
Van Rooyen also challenged Malema to a fist fight and threatened to beat the daylights out of the politician.
"You go and make your speeches accompanied by 20 bodyguards. You have a big mouth. You know what, today I want to expose you, my name is Louis van Rooyen.
"I invite you, baboon, come see me. Then die poppe sal dans because that's what you say. Fair and square, baboon, you and I. I will shove your head in your arse, where the sun don't shine. Leave my people alone.
"But if you have balls, just a little bit or smalls balls, because I don't think you have, come, fair and square, you and I and I will show you what we, the boere volk, are made of.
"I will f***ing hit you in your balls you f***ing piece of shit. You bloody swine, parasite, thug. So I hope you get this video. I am going to post it on social media, Facebook, now. And if you are a man who can stand for what you always say, let me know. I will meet you. No bodyguards, just you and I. I would like to shove your head in your arse," he said.
