Ndlovu said the straw that broke the camel's back was when Mafokate demanded that an artist from 999 Music should perform at midnight when a live announcement of the competition's winner is being announced.
"He also demanded that the competition should be won by one of his artists. He also demanded to have access to the voting SMS line and I refused. The only person who has access to the voting SMS line is me and the auditors," he said.
Ndlovu said his lawyers will respond to demands.
Mafokate said: "I cannot comment on this matter as it is now being handled by my lawyers."

Kwaito king Arthur Mafokate has threatened to nail SABC sports commentator Owen Ndlovu's balls to a tree if he does not pay him back the R500 000 he borrowed.
Mafokate said he loaned the money to Ndlovu when they became partners in the production of the SABC Summer Song Of The Year competition.
The Kaffir hitmaker has instructed top law firm Werksmans Attorneys and they have written a letter of demand to Ndlovu: he must pay back the money by no later than November 14 and add a rate of 10.25% interest .
According to the letter, seen by Sunday World, Mafokate lent Ndlovu R500 000 to organise the popular end of the year event when they became partners in January.
They were supposed to have set up a special purpose vehicle to manage the event by no later than June. Both parties were also supposed to have sourced sponsorship and funding, among others, for the project.
After securing the funding, Ndlovu was expected to repay Mafokate the R500 000 without interest by no later than June 30. But Mafokate demanded that Ndlovu repay him the money plus interest after he violated their agreement.
The lawyers' letter reads: "Despite constant demands, Owen Productions failed to conclude the loan repayment agreement with Mafokate and failed to repay the loan. As a result, Owen Productions has been in breach of the agreement between the parties.
"On March 20, Mafokate duly demanded repayment of the money and Owen Productions failed and or refused to repay the money within 60 (sixty) days of such demand."
Ndlovu said he was reluctant to continue his partnership with Mafokate because the 999 Music boss is being investigated by the SABC for allegedly paying payola to some of its employees.
