HOUSE music DJ Black Coffee's marriage seems to be dissolving faster than Cremora in a hot cup of coffee.

HOUSE music DJ Black Coffee's marriage seems to be dissolving faster than Cremora in a hot cup of coffee.

Sunday World can reveal that the musician and his wife, Mbali Mlothswa, have been going for marriage counselling at Tshepo Themba private hospital in Dobsonville, Soweto.

A nurse working in a different section of the hospital said the couple had been going to therapy for the past fortnight.

The couple asked Sunday World to email them questions, to which their lawyer, Macbeth Ncongwane, responded: "The questions asked herein are unjustified for purposes of publication. It's our submission that your continuation to act unethically against our clients has the potential of hurting our clients' dignity and reputation. It's. unlawful to publish confidential and private information about our clients without their consent."

Another source, independent of the nurse, confirmed to Sunday World the couple are undergoing counselling.

Black Coffee (real name Nkosinathi Maphumulo) and Mlothswa's union started taking strain after allegations surfaced that the DJ has been drinking on the lips of Egoli floozies.

Sunday World has reported of at least two women alleging to be Black Coffee's chicks.

Another source, an associate of Mlothswa, said Black Coffee's scandals were taking a toll on his actress wife.

"Mbali appeared to be strong when Sunday World broke the story of Pheladi Makola, who claimed Black Coffee was using her as a sex toy. Mbali indicated that she stood by her man.

"When Drum published a story of another woman, Andronica Msimango, who claimed to have had a sexual relationship with Black Coffee, Mbali cracked. She felt betrayed."

The associate added that Mlothswa was emotionally drained after Sunday World published the exposé about Lerato Motseke, a woman from Welkom, Free State. The Hawks arrested Motseke for extortion after she claimed to have a sex tape showing Black Coffee bonking her friend.

Motseke, who did not have the tape, according to the Hawks, was released on R1000 bail and will appear in court soon.
