Local muso Zakes Bantwini has banned his children from watching popular soapie Generations.

Bantwini says the current young-love story line is sending the wrong message to impressionable kids.

The story line focuses around Prince – Queen’s son - who is a teenager dating a girl who regularly visits him at his parents’ house.

“I think the message you are giving is not driving society to where it needs to go. Old people are old people, there is no kid in my township who can go to their boyfriend’s house while the parents are there and have dinner,” he told The Sowetan.

Would you ban your kids from watching Generations because of dating storyline?
