Julius Malema, the leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), verbally attacked President Jacob Zuma and showed no sympathy toward his State of the Nation Adddress.

In his maiden speech in parliament Malema said the President’s speech was uninspiring.

“No one will remember what you said last night, except we must clean on Mandela Day,” he said.

“Sorry Mr President I will not be cleaning on Mandela day.. nothing you said was radical…”

He went on to speak to the presidents comments on whiteness.

“You are extremely scared of white people...you want to protect white minority privileges”

He said that the president needs to stop sucking up to "them"'

“We should not purport anything that promotes white supremacy,” he adde.

Malema called on for Louis Botha statue to be thrown in the dustbin of history.

“Louis Botha is not our hero -he's a colonial warmonger. The statue of Botha must go down.”
