HEART-THROB Anga Makubalo - who makes many a woman go gaga when he transforms into MJ on the soapie Generations - has another talent.

When he is not on set, he transforms into a musical genius he calls NaakMusiQ.

Having worked on house compilations withDJs such as Sbu and HeavyK, he released his debut album, Love and Music, last week.

"As an artist, the one thing you fear is that people won't like your music. But judging from my Twitter account and feedback from fans, people are digging it," said Makubalo, who studied music at Damelin College.

He writes his own music and said it's not based on his personal experiences. "I hear a beat and write down whatever words that come out my mouth. Then I need it to make sense as a story. I tell stories that the world can relate to, but it doesn't have any special meaning."
