LISTENING to the radio this past Wednesday I was heartbroken to learn that yet another lesbian had been killed in Ekurhuleni. My heart went out to the victim as I pondered what made people judges of so-called "accepted sexual orientation" in our society.

As a society, have we become violent to the point of not realising that gays and lesbians are also human beings and have the same human rights as anyone else?

One murder is just one too many. This has to stop. Fellow South Africans must be tolerant and respect each other's sexual orientation. Prejudice of any kind can no longer be tolerated.
