Sanral scam: act now Mr President - we want answers

THE idea that a few individuals unilaterally procured improvements to Gauteng's highways without a budget from the national or provincial coffers is truly bizarre and unheard of.

When we witnessed roadworks along Gauteng's highways, little did we know that the government planned to empty our pockets without our knowledge. By the time people start revolting against this irrational extortion, Sanral will be nowhere to be seen.

It's time President Zuma stood up to stop this ill-informed scheme to rob the people because though they might not know who Sanral is, their backlash will roll like a tsunami all the way to the Union Buildings.

This project is doomed to failure; we are all united against it and we suspect foul play.

E-tolling must be suspended and a thorough investigation must be conducted to find outwhat happened with this project. We demand answers Mr President.
