Small screen diva Thuli Thabethe has dispelled talk that she is about to jump from the Isibaya ship.

Thabethe plays Beauty - the glamorous wife of taxi boss Judas, played by Menzi Ngubane - in the Mzansi Magic soapie .

"I've no intention of leaving Isibaya," she said.

"In fact, I have a one-year contract. When it expires next year I'm ready to renew, as long as my character and the story line are still required to keep the soapie going.

"You cannot just dump a production. It reflects badly on you and dents your image."

She joined Isibaya in March last year. Thabethe, 32, scored her first acting role at age 19 on SABC3's Isidingo but has since gone on to play Malaika in e.tv's Ashes to Ashes, Pinky in Zone 14 and a doctor in Tshisa, all flighted on SABC1.
