Bonang to host Radio conference

IT girl Bonang Matheba will be hosting the annual Radio Works conference.

This year's  conference promises to be bigger and better than before.

DJ Suga will co-host the event with Bonang.

This year's conference is bringing in two of the biggest international radio experts, Micheal Tull and Sam Crowther.

The conference which will be hosted in both Johannesburg and Cape Town will host over 500 delegates who will learn about the power of sound and how sound affects us both consciously and subliminally as part of universal human communication and brand development.

The conference themed “Radio Real Personal” provides a platform for those in radio to tackle issues affecting the industry while sharing best practise and getting cutting edge solutions from other countries.

Radio Advertising Bureau General Manager, Matona Sakupwanya promises that this year's conference will be of a high standard.

“We are excited to have both Tull and Crowther speak at our RadioWorks conference this year. Both are passionate and engaging speakers with innovative and interesting insights on radio,” she said.

The local speakers include Jason Xenopoulos, who will talk about how social media has radically changed our world, Kaya FM’s MD Greg Maloka, OMD’s Chris Gotz, and Brand South Africa’s Wendy Tlou.

The conference takes place in Johannesburg and Cape Town on the 19 and 21 August 2014.
