Snapshot of the Gumede weekend

Bonang Matheba was an MC at the 6-6 Music Festival on Saturday night, and boasted about being jetted in by Robert Gumede and having a police escort.

• Gumede denies that he was referring to Rick Ross when he said someone is "pissing me off".

• "I pulled Rick Ross out of his tour for three days. That's how much I wanted him for my boys. He was very professional."

• There were 4000 security personnel including police at Kanyamazane Stadium where 65000 people attended the free concert featuring Rick Ross, Keith Sweat and locals Khuli Chana, AKA and Zahara, among others.

• Gumede won't say how much he spent on the weekend, only that it was "priceless".

• He has no interest in obtaining a pilot's licence and is happy to have "the man who piloted Sol Kerzner for 26 years" as his personal pilot. He says his 13-year-old son, Robert Junior, will probably be the one to get a pilot's licence.
