Motshwari‚ now a Pirates player‚ did not hide how baffled he was by Wits coach Gavin Hunt’s decision to bench him after aiding the club in their historic league triumph.
“You win the league this season‚ and then next season you are nowhere‚" said Motshwari.
"It’s just a surprise‚ regardless of which players come in and who goes out.
"You know my previous coach [Hunt] is one of a kind.
"He always encourages you to work hard but in this instance I never spoke to him.’’
