Chippa United have completed the signing of veteran striker Katlego Mashego on a 20-month contract.

Mashego joins United from champions Mamelodi Sundowns and he brings a wealth of experience.

United chairman Siviwe Mpengesi said the club has struggled to score goals and it is hoped the well-travelled striker will solve the problem.

“We were struggling a bit upfront‚ and could not look further than Katlego who was immediately available for us‚” Mpengesi said.

“He is a player that brings a lot of experience to the team.

“His talent and knack for scoring goals is not in doubt. We are aware of his ability‚ and what he is going to bring to this young side. He will help us with the youngsters in the team.”
