Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny returns after injury to start for Egypt in Sunday’s Africa Cup of Nations final against Cameroon in Libreville, Gabon.

Elneny missed the Pharaohs’ quarter-final win against Morocco with a calf problem that also kept him out of their penalty shoot-out win against Burkina Faso in the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, the Greek-based midfielder Amr Warda starts for the first time at the tournament, while centre-back Ahmed Hegazy has shaken off an injury in time to line up in defence.

Cameroon coach Hugo Broos sticks with the same starting line-up as in Thursday’s 2-0 semi-final win against Ghana.

Starting line-ups for the Africa Cup of Nations final between Egypt and Cameroon at the Stade de l’Amitie in Libreville, Gabon, on Sunday (kick-off 1900 GMT):

Egypt (4-2-3-1): Essam El Hadary (capt); Ahmed Elmohamady, Ahmed Hegazy, Ali Gabr, Ahmed Fathy; Tarek Hamed, Mohamed Elneny; Mohamed Salah, Abdallah El Said, Trezeguet; Amr Warda Coach: Hector Cuper (ARG)

Cameroon (4-2-3-1): Fabrice Ondoa; Fai Collins, Michael Ngadeu, Adolphe Teikeu, Ambroise Oyongo; Arnaud Djoum, Sebastien Siani; Christian Bassogog, Jacques Zoua, Benjamin Moukandjo (capt); Robert Ndip Tambe Coach: Hugo Broos (BEL)  Referee: Janny Sikazwe (ZAM)
