Kaizer Chiefs' revival continued after Steve Komphela's charges beat Bloemfontein Celtic 4-1 to win the 2016 Macufe Cup at the Free State Stadium on Sunday.

Goals from Edmore Chirambadare, man of the match Siphiwe Tshabalala, Bernard Parker and former Celtic man Keagan Buchanan were enough for Amakhosi to put the home side to the sword. Fiston Abdul Razak scored the consolation for the Celtic side but his brave effort was not enough to take the shine off the impressive Chiefs.

Amakhosi have looked the part in recent weeks after a sluggish start to the season.

Their  win in Bloemfontein on Sunday followed recent victories in the PSL - a 2-0 triump over Free State Stars and the unconvincing wins against Highlands Park‚ 1-0 in Tembisa‚ and then Maritzburg United‚ 2-0 at FNB Stadium.
