Veteran striker Siyabonga Nomvete has dropped embattled Moroka Swallows to join Durban-based outfit AmaZulu on a six months deal.

The 38-year-old attacker scored three goals for the Birds in the National First Division before deciding to switch to AmaZulu in January.

"We're pleased to announce the signing of the experienced Siyabonga 'Bhele' Nomvethe who joins on a six month deal," the club tweeted on Sunday.

The ever hard working striker remains the all time Premier Soccer League leading goal scorer netting 119 goals.

He made 82 appearances for the national team and scored 16 goals.
