The Premier Soccer League has confirmed that the case regarding the scuffle between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates fans has been handed to the League prosecutor.

Chiefs and Pirates supporters got into fight that left a number of people injured just after the final whistle.

Both sides could face the PSL disciplinary committee on charges of unsporting behaviour by their supporters.

"We cannot comment on this matter – it has been forwarded to the PSL prosecutor.

"The decision on next action is dependent on the prosecutor," PSL Media Relations Luxolo September said.
