Former Mamelodi Sundowns assistant coach Alex Bapela says favouritism is destroying the Tshwane base side which is why some of the players aren’t motivated.
‘Barnes’ was demoted from his role as the head of Sundown’s Multichoice Diski Challenge team and apparently he didn’t take that well.
Legendary Santos striker David Notoane is now the head coach of Downs’ MDC team following the dismissal of Bapela.
"Favouritism is killing Sundowns and I believe the team that is playing is definitely not the best team we have," Bapela told Soccer Laduma.
"Players aren't treated equally, which is why some of them lack motivation.
