Kaizer Chiefs are alleged to be targeting Polokwane City midfielder, Cole Alexander who will soon become a free agent.
The 26 year-old Alexander hasn’t been featured for the ‘Rise and Shine' this season, fuelling speculation that a move to join PSL reigning champions Chiefs is imminent.
While there is no deal in place yet, the want-away City player’s contract is coming to an end in January 2016.
"Chiefs are believed to have earmarked the 26-year-old as a potential target in January or next season, and could potentially get him for free if they are willing to wait," Soccer Laduma official website reports.
Meanwhile, Amakhosi will face SuperSport United on a Premiership clash at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday, kick-off is at 18:00.
