Mamelodi Sundowns striker Mame Niang is set to leave the Brazilians to join a Cypriot team on a one-year loan deal.
"Yes, that’s true. I’m joining them on loan for the season. The name of the team is AEL Limassol and I will leave sometime during the week," Niang quoted saying on KickOff.com.
The 31-year-old Senegalese-born striker was initially signed by Downs to be used in Champions League, which never happened.
