Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has expressed his desire securing the services of clubless former Kaizer Chiefs captain Tefu Mashamaite.
The 31-year-old defender’s move to join the United State of America’s Major League Soccer (MLS) did not materialise.
"Is Tefu Mashamaite available? He must tell us if his available and we will look at him," Mosimane was quoted saying.
Mashamaite was shown the door along with keeper Itumeleng Khune and midfielder Mandla Masango when the trio failed to agree on terms of their new deals.
"The new captain will be appointed tomorrow," said Mosimane.
