Orlando Pirates agrees to sell Erasmus to Zamalek for R20million

Orlando Pirates have agreed to sell their key striker Kermit Erasmus to the Egyptian giants Zamalek, according to reports.

The Cairo-based club is set to offer Pirates a whopping fee of R20 million for a 25-year-old striker.

“These are obviously unofficial amounts, but I believe the transfer fee Pirates could be getting is in the region of about R20-million,” said source as quoted by KickOff.

“Also, they’ve already engaged with Erasmus’ representatives, and the offer to the player stands in the region of $30 000 [R350 000] per month.”

Pirates spokesperson Floyd Mbele told Sowetan LIVE that he could not confirm the news regarding the sale of Erasmus.

"We have to wait for a confirmation from the club chair Irvin Khoza."
