Elias Pelembe has joined Wits University on Wednesday after his contract with Mamelodi Sundown came to an end at the beginning of July.
The Clever Boys confirmed the news of Pelembe on the club’s official Twitter account tweeted saying, “its official - Elias Pelembe has joined The Clever Boys! #Nakanjani”
The Mozambique talisman is believed to have been earning at least R400000 a month at former club Sundowns, reportedly making him one of the highest paid players in the Premier Soccer League.
The 31-year-old midfielder has reunited with his former SuperSport United coach, Gavin Hunt.
