Kaizer Chiefs' defensive duo of Siboniso Gaxa and Tefu Mashamaite and University of Pretoria goalkeeper Washington Arubi will achieve the rare feat of a full-house season if they are selected for action tomorrow.

The trio started each of the 29 Premier Soccer League matches for their clubs this season. If selected again, they will achieve a full house of 30 games for the season.

Arubi and Mashamaite can take it a step further and achieve a full haul of 2700 minutes of league action as neither has missed a single minute for their clubs in this premiership campaign. But Gaxa was taken off in five league matches this season.

Chiefs play away at Chippa United in Port Elizabeth tomorrow afternoon while struggling AmaTuks face Mamelodi Sundowns.

Zimbabwe international Arubi missed just a single league game in each of the last two PSL seasons since joining AmaTuks after they won promotion to the top flight. Two seasons ago he had to sit out one game because of a delay in issuing his work permit, and last season he was suspended for one match.

Last season there were four players who featured in every league game. Three of these were goalkeepers, Siyabonga Mpontshane, then at Platinum Stars, Modiri Marumo (Polokwane City) and Greg Etafia of Moroka Swallows.

Here is a list of the players who have started the most number of league matches for each of the 16 PSL clubs.
