Chippa United finally added marksman Edward Manqele to their squad on a season-long loan from Mamelodi Sundowns. The Chilli Boyz also captured George Akpabio from Ajax Cape Town earlier in the week to add competition for new Bafana Bafana forward David Zulu.

Platinum Stars signed midfielder Edgar Manaka from Black Leopards, adding to the capture of left-back Pule Nonyane from ABC Motsepe League side Shining Stars.

Black Aces secured the services of Bidvest Wits defender Sboniso Gumede, with midfielder Sandile Zuke moving in the opposite direction.

AmaZayoni also signed Wits goalkeeper Jackson Mabokgwane on a permanent deal, which forced The Clever Boys into a season-long loan for SuperSport United goalkeeper Boalefa Pule.

Free State Stars have added a couple of Belgians to their squad, both of whom were in the match day squad in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Maritzburg United.

Goalkeeper Glenn Verbauwhede was an unused substitute after being signed on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns as cover for Burkina Faso stopper Daouda Diakite, who will miss the next six months through injury.

Also brought in is striker Andrea Fillecia, 22, who has experience in the Dutch Eredivisie with Excelsior Rotterdam, but was most recently in the lower leagues in Belgium.

Ajax promoted 18-year-old defender Yagan Sasman, who had trials at mother club Ajax Amsterdam in May.
