SPEEDY winger Tlou Segolela looks set to join an elite group of players who have moved from Orlando Pirates to Kaizer Chiefs.

Segolela is said to be in discussions with the newly crowned Absa Premiership and Nedbank Cup winners, though his agent Tim Sukazi has said that he has not yet signed with another Premier League club.

Bloemfontein Celtic are also keen to re-sign him.

"I can confirm Tlou's contract has ended, with the PSL season over, and Pirates have not approached us yet, but I can tell you Tlou is hot property," said Sukazi.

"Naturally, Tlou is not happy that he was not getting enough game time last year [season]. He is not getting any younger, he wants to play regularly."

Chiefs general manager Bobby Motaung, who deals with the signing and transfer of players, said Segolela won't be going to Naturena.

"I have not even started with the recruitment of players. I had a meeting with the chairman, Kaizer Motaung, and coach Stuart Baxter on Saturday to map the way forward," he said.

"But I can confirm the name Tlou Segolela is definitely not on our wanted list for next season. We will also not be signing any player from Pirates."

Segolela is not sure if he will still be with Pirates but the club's chairman, Irvin Khoza, always waits until the end of the season to start dealing with contracts after reviewing the 2012-13 season.

"I would still love to remain with Pirates. We are waiting for the chairman, Dr Irvin Khoza, to begin negotiations for a new deal," Segolela said.

"I know nothing about all the rumours doing the rounds, of pre-contracts. It's that time of the season where stories are created."

Players who have featured for Chiefs and Pirates include Jimmy Tau, Pollen Ndlanya, Marks Maponyane, Brian Mathe, Marc Batchelor, Jabu Mahlangu, Donald Khuse and the Chiefs chairman himself, Kaizer Motaung.
