LIBERIAN striker Berrian Herron will make his debut for Free State Stars against Kaizer Chiefs in a top-of-the-table Absa Premiership clash in Namahadi tomorrow (3pm).

Herron, 18, who will be registered with the Premier Soccer League today, was bought by Ea Lla Koto from Invisible Eleven in Liberia.

"We are no longer going to sign any new player. Berrian is the last one and we are happy that the team we've assembled will challenge for the league," said Stars general manager Rantsi Mokoena.

Stars deputy captain Paulos Masehe said they were ready for a big fight with Amakhosi, who like Ea Lla Koto are still unbeaten after two matches.

"They were in a class of their own in their last league game after routing AmaZulu 6-0, where Bernard Parker scored four goals. It is difficult planning for Chiefs because they have an array of quality players," he said.

Chiefs midfielder Josta Dladla is confident that the log leaders will extend their unbeaten run: "In football you are as good as your last game. So our past results will not win us the game at Charles Mopeli Stadium." Amakhosi's new signing Tsepo Masilela is not considered match-fit.
