THE signing of Botswana international goalkeeper Kabelo Dambe will likely be the last addition to the squad of Platinum Stars in this transfer window.

Dambe brings to 14 the number of new players in the Dikwena first-team squad for the 2012-2013 campaign, making them the busiest top-flight club in the transfer market since the end of last season.

One of those, 20-year-old right-back Michael Mabule, has been promoted from the club's academy, but the rest have been purchased and Stars look to have done some excellent business.

Dambe arrives on a season-long loan from Botswana's Township Rollers, with Stars having the option to buy him outright at the end of the campaign. It is the same club from which they bought another Zebras star, winger Mogakolodi Ngele.

Having strengthened in all areas except their goalkeeping department, the club were desperate to bring in a new stopper, with only the inexperienced Siyabonga Mpontshane and Kagiso Mlambo on their books.

After failing to capture Jackson Mabokgwane from Mamelodi Sundowns, the club moved fast to bring in Dambe.

The 22-year-old keeper played for Botswana when they held South Africa to a 1-1 draw in a 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifier in June.

Dikwena visit Bloemfontein Celtic in one of the six Absa Premiership match billed for Wednesday.

Kickoff is at 7.30pm.
